Join us at Fort Ancient Earthworks & Nature Preserve to commemorate one year since this site and seven others were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list as part of the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks. There will be a ceremony on Thursday (Sept. 19), with activities and tours immediately following. Other tours and presentations will occur on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 20 & 21).

Join us in commemorating the Great Circle and Octagon Earthworks as part of the eight Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks sites, which were added to the UNESCO World Heritage list one year ago! We have a full day of interpretive and educational programming planned after a ceremony and speakers in the morning.
