Ranger-led Tour of Mound City

Go beyond Mound City and learn about more of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park’s earthworks. Join our interpretive rangers for a special tours at Mound City Group during World Heritage Week.
All tours are free, open to the public and do not require registration. Tour will last approximately 1 hour and will cover unpaved, uneven terrain. Wear sensible hiking shoes. No flip flops or open toed shoes. Come prepared with snacks and water. There is little to no shade on these tours. Bring a hat, bug spray, sunscreen and your questions!
