Fort Ancient Open House

Tour Fort Ancient, North America’s largest hilltop enclosure earthwork, during the open house. Tours and programs every 90 minutes. Guests can also explore the interpretive garden with our master gardeners. Children’s activities will be available. A commemoration ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Sat., Oct. 7. Admission will be free to Fort Ancient on both Saturday and Sunday. Parking is recommended at the South Fort with free shuttle buses available to the north end.

Fort Ancient site tours:
9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. & 5 p.m. Tours depart from picnic shelter.

Educational programs at the Fort Ancient museum:
Sat. at 2 p.m.; Sun. at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m.
